Mental Health Counseling

I offer evidence-based, trauma-informed counseling for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, identity disturbances, family conflict, and chronic stress. My clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed work), mindfulness-based interventions, in addition to other interventions, with a holistic understanding of how emotional, physical, and spiritual systems interact. Whether you’re experiencing acute symptoms or long-standing patterns that affect daily functioning, therapy provides a structured, confidential space to process your experiences, build insight, and develop practical skills for long-term stability and well-being.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State, I work with adults and teens, using individualized treatment goals that support sustained healing, improved cognitive and emotional regulation, and healthier relational patterns.

  • Former Client

As someone who has gone to a few therapists over the years, I would have to say that Charlette was definitely one of if not the best therapist that Ive had. Her grace and understanding made me want to open up even more when that was some thing that was always hard for me to do. She helped me understand myself, and the deep rooted patterns that I’ve been living in and to help break cycles. I always look forward to our sessions because I knew that I was going to get the best help. She is warm, understanding, and extremely knowledgable in mental health and definitely gave me a safe space to talk openly.

  • Current Client

What impresses me most about Charlette is her remarkable ability to consistently be one step ahead. She always has a fresh and useful insight to begin unpacking the challenges I bring in. What keeps the sessions both productive and manageable is how she is able to extract practical day-to-day stress management techniques from the more ambitious goal of identifying and remedying the deeper sources of stress and anxiety. These are well-balanced sessions of both challenging introspection and lighter moments.

  • Former Client

I tell everyone who will listen. That’s the only reason I am capable of doing what I am doing today is because of the work that you and I put in to heal some of my past traumas in order for me to make room for some of these new traumas and to be able to deal with them appropriately. I couldn’t appreciate you more!
